Andy Fry is a freelance writer specialising in media, marketing and IP exploitation. Since the start of the 1990s, he has worked for a wide range of leading industry magazines including Sport Business International, Soccerex Magazine, Marketing, Campaign, Broadcast, Locations, The Knowledge, Variety, Media Week, TBI and Digital Television Europe. He also works for the Reed Midem reporting team at MIP and MIPCOM in Cannes. As a result of his journalistic work, Andy has also been commissioned to write a number of book-length reports on topics in his specialist fields.

For SBI, he has co-authored reports on subjects which include broadband, mobile and Asia - as well as contributing to a specialist magazine on the sports industry in Qatar. He has appeared on various sports, sponsorship and children's TV industry conference panels down the years and is a judge of the annual Hollis Sponsorship Awards.

Work for private clients has included writing/research projects for ITN, BBC Worldwide, IMG, Chrysalis, the International Olympic Committee, Sochi 2014 Organising Committee and The Foreign Office. Andy now lives in Cornwall with his family. He and his wife recently set up a children's book publishing firm, Pink Chapel, and have just released their third title.
