Mark Hargreaves
Mark joined Knowledge MGI from Manchester United where he was originally head of IT and went on to become the General Manager of Manchester United Interactive. During his tenure as General Manager, Mark ran manutd.com one of the world’s most successful websites for over 7 years, spearheading the development of four sister multi-lingual sites for Asia and the Middle East, working with major brands and support service companies to deliver Man Utd content and e-commerce solutions to over 8 million unique visitors every month. The sites went on to win prestigious Sport Industry, New Media Age and Webby Awards.
Mark is currently Chief Operating Officer of Knowledge MGI, (a UK-based management consultancy providing interactive marketing and implementation advice to global brands within the sports, entertainment and media sectors) and COO of their technology client, Ve Interactive Ltd. In his capacity as COO at Knowledge, Mark is responsible for directing the operation of the business, including consulting to sport, media and entertainment companies on a broad range of business development, with particular attention to interactive. At Ve Interactive, Mark is responsible for implementing the overarching strategy for the product development and sales. Ve Interactive recently launched its VeCapture technology, a patented re-commerce software tool, effective in securing additional shopping cart conversions from aborted online transactions.
Mark was recently appointed to the board of AIM listed media company Milestone Group PLC to assist in the internal development and to advise on its M&A media strategy.
