ArkSports Databox: iTV revenues of Olympic proportions - August 2003 |

With Olympic fever sweeping the globe as cities including Paris, London, New York and Rio de Janeiro launch their campaigns to host the 2012 summer Games, ArkSports has analysed the potential revenue from multisport offerings on interactive television (iTV). ArkSports forecasts that by the end of 2005, revenue from multisports on iTV will be worth $139.2m globally, rising to $279.6m by the end of 2008. This compares to revenue worth $8.1m by the end of 2002.
