ArkSports Databox: iTV revenues and Hoops - November 2003 |

The new National Basketball Association season bounced its way onto television screens at the end of October 2003 so ArkSports has analysed the potential revenue from basketball offerings on interactive television (iTV). ArkSports forecasts that by the end of 2005, revenue from basketball on iTV will be worth $167m globally, rising to $335.5m by the end of 2008. This compares to revenue worth $9.8m by the end of 2002.
