Manchester United Football Club

Steve Davis

> Steve Davis won the World Snooker Championship on six occasions between 1981 and 1989.
> In total, Davis has won 73 tournaments, 28 of them in ranking events.
> Despite being 47 years of age, Davis is still ranked in the World's top 16 snooker players.
> He was awarded the MBE in 1988 and the OBE in 2001.
> He has also recently been playing in televised Poker tournaments and finished fifth in the 2003 Ladbrokes Poker Million. Former snooker rival Jimmy White won the 2003 Poker Million and a cheque for $150,000.

The Showdown: Phil "The Power" Taylor vs Andy "The Viking" Fordham

> On 21 November 2004, BDO World Darts Champion Andy Fordham took on his PDC counterpart Phil 'The Power' Taylor.
> The match took a shock turn when Fordham suffered shortness of breath and was rushed to hospital.
> Taylor, who was leading 5-2 in sets at that point, took the match and a 100,000 euro check due to Fordham's forfeit.
> Fordham, a pub landlord weighing around 420 pounds, won his first ever BDO World Championship title last January.
> Taylor has won 11 world crowns in the BDO and PDC combined and is considered the greatest darts player ever.
