Having spotted the letter from Steve Davis regarding chalkless tips (see Letter to the Editor: Snooker loopy, technology nuts are we? December 2004 ), I am writing to say that a chalkless tip has indeed been invented and early versions are available (see www.chalklesspoolcuetip.com).
