Burghley Horse Trials

> The Burghley Horse Trials are a Three Day Eventing competition and one of the leading events in Equestrian.
> The competition is staged at Burghley House near Stamford, Lincolnshire in England.
> The present venue has hosted this event ever since 1961 when Anneli Drummond-Hay rode off with top honours.
> In 2005, William Fox-Pitt riding Ballincoola triumphed. The 2006 event took place between 7-10 September.
> In the current prize structure, the winner will take home £40,000.

Andy Roddick

> Andy Roddick was born on 30 August 1982 in Omaha, Nebraska in the US.
> He turned professional at age 18 and won his first ATP singles crown at the same age by emerging victorious in Atlanta.
> He won his first Grand Slam in 2003, when he defeated Juan Carlos Ferrero in the final of the US Open.
> Roddick topped the ATP World Ranking from November 2003 to February 2004.
> At 246 km/h, Roddick has clocked the fastest ever serve in an ATP tournament.
