> The Grand National attracts more betting money than any other horse race in Great Britain.

National Basketball League (Australia)
> The National Basketball League is Australia’s highest level professional basketball competition.
> It began in 1979 with the season taking place in the winter. In 1998/1999 the competition moved to the summer.
> The league doesn’t only contain clubs from Australia but also representatives from New Zealand and Singapore.
> The 2006/2007 season grand final was won by the Brisbane Bullets, who won its third championship.
> Perth Wildcats and Adelaide 36ers are the most successful clubs with four championships each.

Fulham FC
> Fulham FC was founded in 1879 and currently plays in the FA Premiership.
> Fulham has never won a major trophy.
> The club’s biggest trophy success came in winning the Second Division championship in 1949 and 2001.
> The 2001 championship marked the club’s third promotion in five seasons.
> Manager Chris Coleman was recently sacked and replaced by Northern Ireland manager Lawrie Sanchez.
