London Irish
> London Irish are an English Rugby Union team, hailing from Sunbury-on-Thames. > The team originated as a meeting place for young Irishmen living in London. > American Football’s Baltimore Ravens is one of 32 NFL franchises. > The Ravens franchise is the reigning AFC North division champion, courtesy of a 13-3 won-lost record in 2006. > The team has been present since 1996. Its name stems from Edgar Allen Poe’s famous poem ‘The Raven’. > The Ravens’ home matches are played at the 71,000 capacity M&T Bank Stadium located in Baltimore, Maryland. > The club enjoyed its greatest success in 2001, when it beat the New York Giants 34-7 in Super Bowl XXXV.
