Panel focus: What methods are betting/gaming companies using to engage with sports fans creatively? How important is betting/gaming revenue to a typical sports website? What is the best business model/commercial arrangement between a bookmaker/gaming operator and a sports property? Can softer forms of gaming (such as bingo) be used effectively to entice rights owners that are worried about their image into commercial partnerships? Will a sports website ever make a decent return without a gambling element on its site? Will the economic downturn have a major impact on gaming revenue streams to a site?

Why would a venue actually decide to go ticketless or cash-free? How are mobile technologies being utilised at sports venues for ticketing and access?

Are traditional grassroots initiatives utilising technology effectively? How are sponsors and brands using technology to engage young people?
