Ian joined BT Media & Broadcast in August 2006, building on a six-year background of launching successful new ventures in the media industry.
 
He brings a comprehensive and detailed knowledge of digital media technologies, with the unrivalled experience of where and how they can impact not only internal business processes but also how they help media companies react to opportunities in the consumer market.
 
Working directly with our client’s across all regions Ian’s responsibility is to offer insight into new ways of working but also to develop BT’s propositions and ensure that we offer the most comprehensive solutions possible. His team work with clients and partners on a consultative basis as a centre of excellence for our activity across out tasking, process re-engineering and workflow management.

 At BT, Ian has quickly developed a reputation for flair within business start-up or corporate venturing across media. His work has spanned a range of projects including BT Rich Media and interactive media.
 
As head of new media for BT Entertainment, Ian spearheaded the brand’s drive to deliver consumer entertainment and associated services over broadband and mobile, including the delivery of broadband content during the Wimbledon Championships and soccer world cup.
 
His passions include microlighting and skiing. Making a successful solo flight after just seven hours of training is one of his proudest achievements.
